After nearly 40 years, at the start of 2023 we have moved into new business premises expanding the production and office space by 50%. In addition to the larger space, the building has been fully customised to allow for a vastly improved operational flow and increased production output. The new premises were selected as they are less than 3km from the previous site allowing maximum retention of experienced production and sales staff and continuing to provide jobs in the local community.

 

Pennine Industrial Equipment’s Castle Link Chain has been designed to reduce the contact area with the bottom of the glass, this causes less heat transfer and reduces thermal shock especially on the base of flat, thick bottomed glass containers used in the table glass industry and cosmetic industry.

We recently completed an order of a 350mm wide 10.2mm high version of this chain for a tableware customer. This customer also choose to use the Pennine HPL (Head Protector Link) which ensures maximum pin head protection from wear.

Parts are inspected at multiple stages of our production process at our stamping facility Pennine Prostamp (www.prostamp.co.uk) in the West Midlands and inspected again at Pennine Industrial to ensure consistency.
